Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST & ASIST TUNE-UP)
This two-day interactive training is designed for anyone who may be in contact with people at risk. The course is designed to recognize risks, learn how to intervene and prevent the immediate risk of suicide. It meets the Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services (CACOHS) Training Guidelines.

Canadian Red Cross Emergency Child Care First Aid (7 hour Course)
This course covers a variety of topics from basic first aid such as cardiovascular emergencies, CPR Level B, choking, airways and breathing emergencies and prevention of disease transmission. Includes AED Certification. Certificates are presented at the completion of this course.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Workshop
NVCI training is taught within human services and other organizations. There is a focus on PREVENTION and PROACTIVE approaches, so that people can diffuse challenging or threatening behaviour before it escalates to physical aggression. Safe, therapeutic, and non-harmful control and restraint techniques are taught as part of this program.
