About Us
Your Local Community Adult Learning Council
We are your local Community Adult Learning Program (CALP). Currently, Alberta is home to approximately 130 CALP organizations like us across the province, each with the same overall goal, to enhance the quality of life in communities by increasing the ability of adults to engage in learning. We are a registered Canadian Charity, and a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta. We are partially funded by Alberta Advanced Education, and we research grant opportunities, as well as fundraise and seek donations and sponsors to balance our funding needs. We have been helping adult learners in Drayton Valley and area for over 35 years!
