Pre-Requisite Information:

In order for you to get the most out of the following computer classes, users should have the following experience:

  • Basic Computer Knowledge (opening/closing/saving files and programs)

  • Navigating Windows 10, Basic keyboarding and mouse skills, Printing

  • Basic email knowledge, including contacts, attachments, forwarding and replying to emails

Accounting Software Additional Pre-Requisites:

  • Understand basic bookkeeping concepts (Debits/Credits, Assets, Liability, Chart of Accounts, etc

Fall 2022 Update:  Our software and professional development classes are on hold temporarily while we recruit more community instructors.  Please let us know if there is something you'd like to learn, and we can help you find a great option with one of our partners. All registrants of our classes are required to be 18 years or older to attend, and agree that they meet all pre-requisites for the class listed.  Registration is not complete until payment is made in full. 

COVID-19 Screening:  We are asking anyone who is visiting our site in person to screen themselves for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering our location, for the health and safety of all of our staff and learners. If you have any symptoms or have recently travelled, we ask that you DO NOT visit us in person at this time.

 

To keep everyone safe, we are limiting class sizes, providing sanitizer in all rooms and offices, and asking learners and staff to wear masks where social distancing isn't possible.

refund policy

Our classes and programs only run if we have sufficient registrations to cost-recover.  As a non-profit organization, we aim to provide learning opportunities that are a reasonable cost for learners, while providing quality instruction.  In order to ensure sufficient time to manage instructors, classroom bookings and materials, classes are non-refundable within 10 days of a class start date, except where:
 

- a course is cancelled or rescheduled

- a learner provides a letter from a health practitioner

 

A full refund will be given if withdrawal from a class takes place at least 10 days before the start of the class.   Class fees are transferrable to another person if you cannot attend for whatever reason.
